The Sociedad Bach del Paraguay is a non-profit cultural entity, with recognized legal status, created in 2008 by a group of young Paraguayan musicians, at the idea and inspiration of maestro Diego Sánchez Haase, the main Paraguayan scholar of the music of J.S. Bach.
The orchestral conductor, composer, pianist, harpsichordist and musical researcher Diego Sánchez Haase is the president of the Bach Society of Paraguay and director of the Bach Collegium of Asunción.
Maestro Sánchez Haase is considered one of the greatest Latin American specialists in the work of J.S. Bach.
